Air Canada reaches agreement with Teamsters
The International Brotherhood of Teamsters has already reached an agreement in principle with Air Canada, the biggest passenger carrier in Canada. The agreement covers over 700 customer support representatives, reservation assistants, air cargo workers along with other employees at the company’s U.S. base of operations.
“I’m pleased with our members at Air Canada extremely,” said Capt. David Bourne, Director of the Teamsters Airline Division. “These workers were united and engaged through the entire procedure for collective bargaining, and their effort paid in a large way.”
