India’s Minister od Home Affairs announced on Wednesday that India will identify and expel all illegal immigrants from in the united states.
An exercise to recognize alien immigrants from Muslim-majority Bangladesh has been going on in the northeastern state of Assam for a long time. The campaign was an integral issue in this year’s general election, won by PM Narendra Modi’s Hindu-nationalist party.

Shah called illegal migrants “termites” he said were eating into Assam’s resources through the election campaign.
