U.S. Travel Association Executive Vice President for Public Affairs and Policy Tori Barnes issued the next statement on today’s White House ending up in the relative heads of several major U.S. airlines, the main topics that was reportedly Open Skies aviation agreements:

“We’ve closely scrutinized Open Skies agreements and we simply usually do not agree that they’re doing any injury to American businesses—on the other hand, our research shows immense advantages to the U.S. economy, jobs exports and base, and considerable harm if Open Skies is tampered with. From the Big Three apart, the entirety of the U.S. tourism and travel industry—including all of those other aviation sector—supports keeping Open Skies intact strongly.”
