Nigerian Air Peace Boeing 737’s landing gear collapses on emergency landing

eTurboNews Syndication:

A Nigerian Air Peace Boeing 737 has nearly crashed following its nose landing gear snapped throughout a hard landing north of Lagos, where it had been diverted after running into turbulence.

On its way from Port Harcourt in Rivers State back, the passenger jet ran into turbulence and reportedly experienced some technical trouble that forced it to request a crisis landing at the Murtala Muhammed Airport in Lagos.

The plane’s nose wheel collapsed because the ground was touched by the plane throughout a hard landing.

Nigeria’s Airspace Management Agency has launched a study, confirming that the apparatus tire &ldquo basically;sheared off” in the incident.
