Arrested for Corruption: Prisca Mupfumira, Zimbabwe
Tourism in Zimbabwe sometimes appears because the biggest money earner left in Zimbabwe following the overthrow of the Mugabe regime. Responsible for tourism may be the Honorable Minister of Prisca Mupfumira. Of today as, this minister is in a Harare jail, arrested by the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission.
Prisca Mupfumira was in control because the Minister of Public Service through the Mugabe government and at that time Dr. Walter Mzembi served because the longest-serving Minister of Zimbabwe.
In March of 2018, she told reporters at a news conference during ITB Berlin that Zimbabwe tourism is open for business. With her chief of the Zimbabwe tourism office together, she told eTN at that right time, the national country is recovering after Mugabe’s time of corruption. She added Dr. Walter Mzembi, who was simply the minister responsible for tourism before she was, is really a criminal and can head to jail.
According to sources, the Prisca Mupfumira was fired by former president Mugabe following a cabinet reshuffle in 2017 when she was responsible for public affairs. In accordance with eTN sources, the allegation of corruption was also raised in 2017 however, not brought forward prior to the overturn of the Mugabe government.
Until today the minister was viewed as the most loyal followers of the existing government in Zimbabwe.
The Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission has confirmed today they have found Minister of Tourism Prisca Mupfumira over charges associated with the abuse of NSSA funds as pronounced by the Auditor General in her report.

“We are able to concur that the Minister of Tourism is inside our custody for questioning and possible due processes currently. We cannot react to any relevant questions right now as this can be a live process. In your day the press will undoubtedly be informed by way of a release later. We shall keep updating.” ZACC said in a statement.
The Commission assured Zimbabweans they are working out to make certain that the law took its course flat.
Member of Parliament of Norton Constituency Temba Mliswa is on record accusing Mupfumira of stealing and misusing NSSA funds to regulate ZANU-PF officials.
