Uganda Tourism and President leaders hosts Miss World delegation
Early, Miss World 2018/19 Vanessa Ponce was hosted by H.E. Uganda President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni at his country home in Rwakitura located 250 kilometers (156 miles) west of Uganda’s capital, Kampala.
According to Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) chief publicist Sandra Natukunda, she was associated with the Hon. Minister of Tourism Antiquities and Wildlife, Professor Ephraim Kamuntu, and Tourism State Minister, Hon. Godfrey Kiwanda; UTB Vice-Chair, Suzan Muhwezi; UTB CEO, Lilly Ajarova; and the reigning Miss Uganda, Quinn Abenakyo. The delegation from Miss World and the Miss Uganda Foundation were also in attendance.
The President officially welcomed the team from Miss World to Uganda and invited them to tour the united states and revel in its beauty.
On, the Speaker of Parliament, Rebecca Kadaga, and Miss Uganda guided Miss World on a trip to a woman Child project in the Busoga region, east of Kampala, and she toured Kagulu Hill, famed for climbing and scenic views of the river Nile since it drains into Lake Kyoga.
According to UTB’s Natukunda: “She was scheduled to go to Way to obtain The Nile, but we changed the scheduled program as a result of State Visit. We have been pushing to increase her visit so she can travel more.”

Miss World found its way to the united states on Tuesday on invitation to grace the Grand Finale of Miss Tourism Uganda because the chief guest. She was received by Quinn Abenakyo who’s also reigning Miss World Africa and won the head-to-head challenge at Miss World before bagging second runner up at the pageant held this past year in China.
“This weekend i cannot wait to start to see the winner collect the Miss Uganda crown, and all I could say right is may the very best contender win now,” said Mexican-born Ponce on arrival at Entebbe AIRPORT TERMINAL.

The Grand finale will undoubtedly be held at the Kampala Sheraton Hotel, July 26.
