Genting Hong Kong announces new President of Dream Cruises
Genting Hong Kong Limited announced the appointment of Mr. Michael Goh because the President of Dream Cruises and Head of International Sales for Genting CRUISELINES. Mr. Michael Goh shall continue being located in Singapore, reporting to Mr. Kent Zhu, President of Genting CRUISELINES.
Mr. Michael Goh joined Genting Hong Kong twenty years ago and was the Senior Vice President of International Sales for Dream Cruises, Star Cruises and Asian marketing and sales for Crystal Cruises. With over 30 years of extensive experience in the Asian hospitality industry, Mr. Michael Goh is in a position because the President of Dream Cruises to lead the cruise line into its next chapter of growth.
“Michael’s long experience developing the Asian cruise industry with Genting HK so when an integral member in the start-up of Dream Cruises will further fortify the brand along with his appointment as President of Dream Cruises. Along with his strong relationships in the travel industry, he’ll lay the marketing and sales approaches for the successful arrival of the initial of two 204,000 gross ton Global Class ships in 2021,” says Tan Sri KT Lim, Chief and chairman Executive Officer of Genting Hong Kong.
On his appointment, Mr. Michael Goh says: “When I look back within the last twenty years developing the cruise business with Genting HK, I’m pleased with our collective team efforts and the challenges we’ve overcome across the real way. I anticipate this next chapter as President of Dream Cruises and the options that lie ahead.”

Of today’s Dream Cruises fleet, two “Dream Class” ships have homeports in Hong Kong, Singapore and guangzhou, with some additional deployment to Taiwan. The 3rd ship, Explorer Dream is on her behalf summer seasonal deployment in Shanghai currently, Tianjin and dalian. Through the winter, Explorer Dream will attempt her maiden voyage beyond Asia with deployment to New and Australia Zealand.
