How safe is Frankfurt HBF (Main PLACE), or perhaps a German place generally?  Today throughout Germany after an 8-year old boy was pushed before an ICE&nbsp it is a hot discussion; train and suffered an awful death with her mother escaping exactly the same narrowly. It&rsquo perhaps; s essential to look at legislation to create such doors mandatory now.

According to police, witnesses said the attacker also tried to push another man onto the tracks because the Intercity Express train was approaching, however the would-be victim were able to avoid falling onto the track.  This type of scenario has all of the components of a terror attack.

The suspect fled&nbsp initially;the scene and were able to exit the station, but by-standers held him up beyond your building.

The killing prompted an enormous police deployment at Frankfurt’s central place, a police spokeswoman said. Firefighters were at the scene also. Authorities closed six of the platforms for many hours, causing train cancellations and delays.

Commenting on the incident, the premier of the constant state of Hesse, Volker Bouffier, said he &ldquo was;stunned” by the “revolting act.”


On, German interior minister  Seehofer pledged that the attacker will be “called to account with all method of the rule of law.” However, the minister warned against drawing premature conclusions concerning the Frankfurt attack also.

The latest tragedy comes only nine days following a 28-year-old man allegedly pushed a 34-year-old mother in to the path of an oncoming train in the northwest town of Voerde, killing her.
