Budapest Airport gets Seoul with new year-round route
LOT Polish Airlines has announced year-round flights between Budapest Airport and Seoul Incheon. Weekly from 22nd September by way of a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner the route will undoubtedly be operated 3 x. With estimated market demand at over 100,000 passengers yearly, and the marketplace between Hungary and Korea quadrupling in the last four years almost, the route shall enable Budapest Airport to raised serve customer’s needs.

With the brand new route, customers flying from Budapest have either three Asian destinations now, including Shanghai and Beijing. This comes as further routes were announced from S20, including a 12 times weekly service to Stuttgart and Prague, alongside daily services to Belgrade and Sofia. This brings to 12 the real amount of destinations from Budapest Airport served by LOT offering over 1.2 million annual seat capacity. This move strengthens the hub concept for LOT in Central Europe and drives them towards being the biggest full-service carrier at Budapest Airport.
