Indian Association of Tour Operators raising tourism awareness

The eastern Indian state, West Bengal, plans to launch a campaign to improve awareness of the countless attractions and facilities for tourists arriving at various areas of the state, that is abundant with heritage and culture.

A part of that direction has been taken once the 35th annual convention of Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO) has been held in Kolkatta, India, september 12 to 14 from, 2019.

Some 1,200 delegates are anticipated to wait the meeting, and Attree Bhattacharya, Principal Secretary of Tourism for the constant state, invited agents and operators to come quickly to the function and visit places apart from Darjeeling and Kolkatta aswell.

The convention has been held in Kolkata after 17 years, with the final one being held in 2002.
