Launched before the debut of the brand’s newest innovative ship, Norwegian Encore, the ongoing company is encouraging the general public to nominate those that deserve an encore – applause – for the positive impact they will have on the friends, communities and family.  Leveraging the ship’s festive name for an engaging campaign, Encore Moments will recognize the nice works of people over the U.S. and Canada by awarding a cruise to 1 winner out of every constant state and province. This new campaign originated on the heels of the brand’s wildly successful Giving Joy campaign, which rewarded and recognized teachers who spread joy in the classroom.

“We have been in the social people business, delivering positive, memorable experiences round the global world,” said Andy Stuart, president and ceo of Norwegian Cruise Line. “We believe it is vital to help make the time and energy to celebrate and thank individuals whose acts of kindness and compassion change lives in the lives of these friends and families, and of their communities. We have been very proud and excited to launch Encore Moments and we encourage the general public to create these hometown heroes to the forefront for a well-deserved encore.”

Norwegian Cruise Line’s Encore Moments campaign, which runs from Sept. 18, 2019 to Oct. 18, 2019 will recognize and reward 52 people over the U.S. (one individual from each state like the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico), and something person from all of Canada’s provinces and territories (excluding Quebec). The 64 nominees with votes within their state, province or territory will win their selection of a three-to-five-day cruise for just two on nearly every Norwegian Cruise Line ship.  They’ll also be provided airfare and accommodations for an award ceremony occurring in NEW YORK on December 16, 2019.
