Guam Visitors Bureau: Over 200 offers obtainable in eighth year of Shop Guam e-Festival
The Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB) is proud to announce that 142 local companies are getting involved in the eighth annual Shop Guam e-festival, providing 208 special deals to island visitors and residents. On Thursday the GVB signature event launches, November 10, 2019, through Thursday and can run, February 10, 2019.
“Each year from our local businesses with over 200 exclusive offers, everyone may take part in the Shop Guam e-Festival, free of charge,” said GVB President and CEO Pilar Laguaña. “Shop Guam may be the only campaign our industry stakeholders can promote their products across our diverse source visitor markets. We encourage everyone to download the free app and make use of the different deals and experiences, during the holidays especially.”
Inspired by Airbnb’s Experience Marketplace, GVB can be inviting all aspiring talents or businesses to host a meeting or experience through Shop Guam.
“Our most crucial new focus this season would be to bring Shop Guam in to the 19 districts and 24 villages across Guam,” said GVB Director of Global Marketing Nadine Leon Guerrero. “We have been actively recruiting small village vendors and entrepreneurs to become a right section of Shop Guam. It supports GVB’s ongoing effort to increase tourism beyond Tumon and create a direct effect for Guam’s community most importantly.”
